"Pay what you can" implies your bill should be related to your income minus necessary living expenses. So if I pay $20 for a decent meal in a restaurant then Bon Jovi should pay, what, about $100,000 for the same meal?

Or the people who can't afford a meal in a restaurant might choose to cook at home. Maybe have the family gather around a pot of stew or some pasta? Anyone remember what that's like?

I got a -1 for my comment. Whoever may have done that needs to differentiate between liberals and conservatives all the time and then see how much entertainment they'll get. Answer: Christian television.
I look for entertainers to entertain. If their 'in your face' politics don't allow me to separate the actor from the character then I'll pass. My comment was in the hopes that Ruffalo doesn't cross that line even though he's approaching it.
Synova, you are dead on accurate and expanded on my thoughts in a way I couldn't articulate at the moment. Thank you for your response.

Ruffalo is a decent actor and one that I can separate from his opposing political opinions and enjoy, like I can do with many others. I just hope he doesn't go full-Sarandon on us. Might be too late.
