MS won on the PC only blind zealots would argue that. Linux/Unix won everything else. Most would argue the need for a PC gets smaller as tablets, smartphones, consoles, and other smart devices chip away the perceived need for it.

Update on chamber of commerce contact: I got a hold of Rob and he says I should contact the Mayor and some group in Council Bluffs. I left another message requesting a better contact number for the Mayor and more details about Council bluffs' organizations to contact.

I approve of this shameless plugging of your own agenda (because I like your agenda), and I agree that Google coming to town would break the natural monopoly cox has here.

I cannot think of a better way to improve our ISPs than to encourage healthy competition.

I have called them at their (402) 346-5000 number. I left a message with Renee.

The specific questions don't really matter. It is just the current state of certifications that the questions have no bearing on reality. I suppose they could fix the questions but it would not entirely fix the problem, because people with no experience would still pass certification and do bad things on the job.

If you think you have something positive to bring to people go for the cert. Just make sure that you know the practical side of the material, actually use the systems you get the certs for.

There are a great deal of problems with the college system and I have no clue where to start fixing them. So all I will say is that I think there is room for improvement.
