Big Hollywood : HomeVideodrome: 'Fast Times,' Dazed and Confused,' 'Mars Needs Moms' and...

Interesting to see the one guy who liked Pineapple Express. What a let down of a movie and I like the one trick pony Apatow as his trick always has me laughing. Scott Pilgrim was way underrated. Fast Times is a great flick too except it seems only to exist to make a certain segment of society feel like they are still cool. They aren't and they never were, but I guess that is the funny part about it all.

Big Hollywood : Today's Open Thread: #3 'Breaking Bad'

I don't get this one. Watched the pilot and found the writing to be terrible and simply uninteresting despite a great premise. Have not felt so disappointed since trying to watch Dexter and realizing that good writing in Hollywood apparently just cannot be accomplished anymore.

A hilarious show and certainly one of the best. I agree with ktrush that the Wonder Years was insanely dull but I disagree about MTM which was meh. The reruns with MWC make me fall in love with Kelly Bundy all over again.

That pretty much goes for anything when watched too many times. Not trying to criticize, but if you watched whatever top 3 sitcoms you find enjoyable over and over againn they will lose their shine too. Coolerking nailed it though: small dosages are best.

Just never understood the appeal of this at all. When I tried to watch it I felt like I did when my parents would leave me at the older neighbors house for the weekend when I was a tot. Nice folks and all but stuffy and boring.

Big Hollywood : WATCH: 'Inception' Stars Trash Evil, Stupid Cheney & Palin -- Preach Hypocritical Environmentalism

It really is quite simple: Do you (the consumer) want to spend your time and money watching people (the vendor) who think you are the worst type of person in the world (conservative)? It really is that simple. Do you want to spend time with people who think of you as a horrible person? If you say yes, go watch the movie. Everything else is irrelevant. I liked Juno. I liked her. But now I just see somebody who thinks I am a terible person so why would I do business with them or give them the time of day? Additionally, why bother going to movies anymore? Netflix is great. Do you really need to be the first person on your block to see a movie?

Oh hell yeah. Just about every scene has something to offer. Andrew Dice Clay in a great scene. Just too many to mention. Ever see a shirt make a phone call? Did you know that every 7 minutes, a black person is born in this country with no soul?

ELWOOD - Well, why not? Harvey was here. A-at first, Doctor Chumley seemed a little frightened of Harvey - but that gave way to admiration as the evening wore on. "The evening wore on." That's - that's a very nice expression, isn't it? With your permission, I'll say it again. "The evening wore on." Reading that just makes Stewart come alive again, if only for a second. Such a beautiful script with lines delivered by such a beautiful man.

Why the need to bash pot heads? As a stoner I take great offense! It's as lazy as the left saying Bush is retarded. You can do better than that. Not all of us smokers are left-wing retards. And WFB made a strong argument as to why conservatives should be for legalization.
