As with everyone one in Congress, follow the money. Steve Israel was always big with the tax payer "slush" moneys - handing funding out to not-for profits who then came up with a project to justify the funding...famous words "if you don't spend it, we lose it for next year"...well better that we lose it for next year because we no longer have "free" money.

It seems the media (and Obama) has laughed and applauded the videos to the music of Lady GaGa and others that our troops posted on you-tube while in Iraq and Afganistan some of which are "inappropriate" and lewd. So can someone explain the difference to me. If our troops are off duty, I guess they are just supposed to clean their weapons and read an approved book or magazine.

Glad to see Greta is as outraged as I am about the Senators and Congress passing the horrendous stimulus bill without reading it. As she said, we vote for these folks , not their staff or researchers. Do we have any legal recourse or do we have to wait until 2010 elections?
