As a coffee drinker, I try not to think about it but at the same time it also puts things into perspective, I know an extra $20 is 4-5 morning lattes so I'd just have to downsize and brew at home (which I should do anyway, haha). I like the perspective pieces on passes, it's definitely affordable if you recognize where your money is going and where you want it to go. A season pass can be a commitment but also worth the money. I prefer to call them my mental health/gym passes instead of season passes.

Appropriate response and well handled to address the concerns of everyone who posted in the comments.

I liked that the original author of the comment came back and posted saying how much he loved the mountain, sticking up for the bashing of employees and had appreciated the response from the mountain.

My favorite response:
Any coffee shack visitors out there? If you drink 3 lattes a week for a year, at an average cost of $3.50/per you would spend $546/year. That's about the cost of season pass...

I'm a coffee drinker so that hit home.

Nice that's good, I hadn't gone through the booking engine to see what it pulled there. Definitely agree with you that more results could pull and use. At Mammoth, we used testimonials on conditions/mountain riding on social media whenever we could. Definitely a lot of possibilities to expand it throughout social and online marketing.

Take a look at Steamboat. They are one of the few resorts I've seen use testimonials on the website in very visible locations. Currently when you go to the homepage there is a "our guests say it best" section. Not sure how often they are updated now or where they are pulled from. I think it'd be even better with locations of the guests to help people relate better.

Thank you for that link, I just passed that onto my employer who has a registered trademark and had concerns about getting the name.

It's a bummer that for fan pages, you have to have 1,000 fans then have access to it.

But it'll be good to create my own personal one.
