I think that was what struck me so about this drought--it isn't natural, but intentional. It isn't that there isn't any water, it's that politicians have turned off the pumps that would deliver the vast amount of water that is readily available. There is something very hard about that for me. You are so right to wonder what we look like inside when we, through neglect or intentional sin, create drought within our own hearts.
