I would be right there with you brother. Only something as thoughtless and uncaring as a virus could spew such filth. I think we can all understand it is one thing to reasonably disagree with another's opinion and a completely different animal to be that man.
I think its mostly popular (like is most countries) because all you really need is a few people and the ball to play. Football really requires quite a few people as well as baseball and basketball requires the court. Youh play it for that reason and move onto better sports in the US as they group up and get access to them

While I can appreciate trying to tackle every social issue a teenager could possibly ever think of going through I think the writers needs to scale it back a bit. It is getting soapy. They need to shift the show back to football related material and have the personal stuff on the side. S1 is probably one of my favorite seasons of any show ever but its has slowly tappered off from there. Also as has been stated the new characters are terrible compared to the original cast.
Until he scales back his lavish lifestyle he is still a hypocrite. Everyday living trumps one time gestures in my book.
