Guess it's no joke. Réquiem ætérnam dona eis Dómine; et lux perpétua lúceat eis. Requiéscat in pace. Amen.

One theory on the Catholic defection to Romney from Santorum: I'd say there are those that are of the "Cafeteria" mindset, where one can pick and choose which doctrines of the Church appeal to their sensibilities. Santorum is not of that mindset, and I'd venture to say that the 37% that voted for him would agree.

Agreed, but my wife LOVES her some Reyes and Doggett, so the move to LA couldn't have been all THAT bad.

Hopefully they can get XF3 together before December, since, you know, Mulder did happen to see something big was supposed to go down then, just before Adam Baldwin came in and whooped his arse.

What's wrong with the Files? Wife is a rabid fan, and I know she'd go see this movie just to piss PuffHo types off.

Um, 11 delegates to 3 isn't exactly a split, based on the outcomes from last night. Plus the fact that Santorum got margins of 3-1 in CO and 4-1 in MN based on said votes alone. There are clearly differences between Santorum and Gingrich, and I don't think this is going to be a retread of Romney/Huckabee from 2008.

Good explanation, Buck. I think the last "ex cathedra" statement any Pope made was from Pius XII regarding the dogma of the Assumption, and that was 62 years ago. Lumen Genitum from Vatican II attempted to clarify the position, but as we all know, it probably made things more ambiguous.

I'll agree with that sentiment. Kudos to Rod Roddenberry and taking a principled step in support of life.
