People are going to argue their beliefs about this one all day long. The thing is, what they did was wrong and they are being punished for it.
How horrible. How could someone do that to a child, let alone their own child!
This is just too bad. At least the State took the other kids and are trying to save them. Wish that they would have saved them all earlier so this tragedy did not have to happen.
It's college though, in the end you are going to have to pay and take out loans. If you don't like it, don't go to college or find somewhere cheaper. It's not just GRCC that's raising their tuition...the economy is bad so less people are going to college, so there is a deficit. It's not just GRCC, many schools are hurting. GRCC is still really cheap compared to many community colleges and besides you need to go to another school after GRCC because most programs only offer an Associates there.
College tuition is going up everywhere, mine rose almost $1000 per year. It's sad because you need a college degree now-a-days to try and even get a job. GRCC is still one of the cheapest community colleges to attend though!
This is not only ridiculous, but it is very unsafe too. You need that light at night when it is dark. What if something were to happen? The light would give a better indicator what is out and about on the streets. Walking in the dark is very dangerous. It is also not right to charge homeowners for the city's lights. They chose to put them where they are at. Don't chare homeowners because you are cheap.
This is so sad. At least the child did not have to witness the killing of his Mother. I hope the young child can stay with a safe relative.
People that are not in prison have to pay for their toothpaste. Maybe if he was not put in prison in the first place, then he could afford it. I shouldn't have to pay for his toothpaste either.
