Yes, and I firmly believe the whole financial meltdown was carefully crafted to happen right before the election so people would be even more ticked off at the Republicans. The sheeple won't look at all the facts and realize who REALLY caused this mess....their Democratic congress. The housing mess can be blamed solely on them--Maxine Waters, Barney Frank, et. al. They MANDATED, under threats of penalties if they didn't comply,that banks give money to people who couldn't ever pay it back, because "minorities" have the RIGHT to home ownership whether they have an income or not.
The governor also chided the pastors for mentioning the words "liberals," "atheists" and "homosexuals.", excuse me, many prayers have been offered to bring atheists and homosexuals to god, liberals, that is another story. This sounds like the state telling religions what they can and cannot do.
I agree with what the South Carolina Governor is doing, the problem is, the people of South Carolina will have to help repay what all the rest are gobbling up at the trough.....
