Off topic but I wrote it in a dead thread. If Schneider goes on the DL how about bringing up Josh Thole and seeing how well he performs if he stinks then we option him back down and bring up cancel or rivera which i assume would be the plan anyway.

Not that much difference. Both throw hard. Both go threw the system as starters. Both come up in the bullpen... Joba just has wayyyy more hype as he flew threw the farm system.

i agree Matt I was there last night only we thought immediatly of the giants. Maybe that was to be the connection with the NY (baseball) Giants as alot of it is reminenicent of the Broklyn Dodgers. The Stadium though was amazing i sat in section 518 row4 (which i thought were going to be nosebleeds and they were great) then during the rain delay we sneaked down to the second row behind the Red Sox duggout and watched the rest of the game from there. And I was practically on eye level with the players

He's an average bat, probably better than the league average CF which is wut he'd probably be asked to do with his new team.

Not neccisarily but I think FMart has more to do with it becase if either can be a plus but with exceptable defense you can package Church and if it is for Halladay, Peavy, Oswalt, etc. you can throw Maine in there too.

Poor Nick Evans what does he have to do to get a job? I mean he's already on the books so now there adding Shefield and cutting Marlon instead of cutting Marlon and promoting Evans. Now does Evans go straight to AAA now and when Livan is brought up they cut Marlon or are they going to cut Marlon and just send Evans down when Livan comes up because if they keep Marlon either he's going to play his heart out and maybe try and reverse theMets disision or he can be a Malcontent and strart showing up late skiping BP and being a clubhouse nightmare. and just to test the new comment section ASSUME
