True that was a generalization on my part.
I think the law is formal and meant to protect vulnerable people, it does not define the experience of rape.
But don't you have to define what you are protecting vulnerable people from?

The lemon/lime flavors over powered the other stuff in the marinades.
Trial and error PGP, trial and error.
Thanks for dropping in.

Like with even what you say here I kinda get the feeling that by saying "they are often attacked for being perceived as male" feels like spin. You know how some feminists spin fat hatred against men into being a feminist issue because some of the most common insults used against fat men are woman like references? It sounds like an attempt at taking the focus away from the group that is actually being harmed as if they don't matter.

I don't recall seeing any of the things that in that link to AVfM mentioned when Amanda Marcotte posted on this the other day (http://pandagon.net/index.php/site/comments/the-abuser-lobby-goes-mainstream).

In the episode a younger woman teacher was statutory raping a boy student and an older woman teacher (that had feelings for the younger teacher and was also the type to keep to herself) found out about it.

You see in NC all marriages that weren't one man/one woman were already illegal but it was only a law. This amendment is a much bigger chanllenge since its easier to repeal a law than undo a piece of a state constitution.
State Republicans have tried to pull something like this before and it always failed because its been a long time since the Republicans had control of the state level Senate. Also this served as a distraction from the unemployment (NC unemployment rate just fell below the national average a few months ago) and education (let's just say its bad when school kids are having fundraisers for teacher salaries).
