I want to like this guy's posts but it seems he's just trying too hard for very little return. The emporer is naked, the 6000-lbs elephant is taking a dump, and Iowahawk isnt that funny.

Gosh Rob, guess we're just being hypersensitive and hyperconservative. But something tells me jokes about Janet Napolitano ramming her pecker into Malia Obama's a$$ aren't going to find their way onto Dave's cue cards any time soon. Gosh, wouldn't that be a hoot and a half!!

Isn't bitter old Dave babydaddy to some bastard himself?!

Sorry... what was this post about again??

I recognized the name, Christian Slater. I remeber him from Heathers and Broken Arrow... he sucked equally in both. Does that matter?

So this article was about the USO or something??? And this was written by a "writer"?

Good Lord.

It's only a matter of time before unicorn boy nationlizes Arbitron and ordains the proper way to determine radio listenership.

MacFarlane just got a $100 million contract and a third prime time show on FOX... minor details left out of this article.

The first few seasons of Family Guy were funny, but lately it's just trying too hard. Before they found a workable balance of shocking and funny, now it's just pseudo-shocking (because the shock has become predictable) and unfunny. Oral sex with animals… check; concentration camp jokes… check; AIDS humor… check; incest…check; Michael J. Fox shaking… check. Ok, Peter touched his son’s penis. We get it…outrageous…move on.

I think MacFarlane is just getting older, more bitter and drunk with money and power (David Letterman syndrome).

Does anyone outside of 15-year-old girls and unsalvageable dimwits really give a sh**t about this show. Who cares?! Move on...

You'll forgive me if I give more weight to Sean Hannity's insights about Dennis Miller than yours. Perhaps you can explain why Miller cares more about defending hacks like Bill Maher and Jon Stewart than defending the ideology he allegedly champions.

As to his HBO deal, I know waiters who make more money than people with HBO contracts. Try again.

Something is off with Miller. I’ll second a previous commenter’s take that Miller seems “mushy” on some core issues.

Miller has said that Sean Hannity (who is clearly on our side without any mush) has a problem with him, without going into detail what that problem is. Hannity himself has only hinted at this problem on-air, without engaging in any cat-fighting. My sense of it is that Hannity believes Miller to be an opportunist who took the old Gay for Pay model to conservative talk radio.

The only programming making legitimate money on AM radio over the past few years has been conservative talk radio. Miller got in when the going was good to collect a paycheck.

I want to believe Miller is legit. I appreciate the wit, wisdom, English mastery and personality he brings to the table. But something about the guy smells a tad trouty.

What's next on your plate, Leo? 3000 words about that 'Three's Company' episode where Roper's niece has the hots for Jack?

This is a little much for Rio Bravo, no? Rio Bravo is to film what a Whopper without cheese is to cuisine. Scratch that 'Three's Company' thing. Your next probing, insightful article should be a review of the Whopper. I bet Quentin Tarantino likes Whoppers.

Lets stay sane here folks and not mention John Wayne in the same breath as Clint Eastwood.
