Breitbart.com : Church bells to ring out warning on climate change

Today at noon I rang our church's bell for the Angelus. It was very hard to pull because IT IS FREEZING COLD!!! On December 13th, when our frequently-used Catholic bell remains silent (because I'll pull the rope up into the attic!) , I'll be listening for the bells of the Methodist, Baptist, Unitarian, and Episcopal churches in my neighborhood. None of them have been rung in years.

I would have to agree here. The Catholic Church has always believed that by studying the arts and sciences, as well as the world around us, we could gain a greater understanding of our Creator. That is why the Catholic Church created universities during the Middle Ages. Due to certain anti-education elements within Protestant Evangelicalism, which has existed (mostly in America) for less than two hundred years, combined with a latent American anti-Catholicism dating back to Elizabethan England, such lies and half-truths about the Catholic Church continue to be perpetuated by people who claim to seek the truth of Christ but are either too lazy or too paranoid to study it in depth. (Catholic priest with an MDiv here)

Climate change is part of the natural process that God created for this planet. All of earth's people and industries combined cannot equal the polluting power of a couple of large volcanic eruptions. Have you ever noticed that liberal "Christians" and other left-wingers HATE CHURCH BELLS? They are always threatening to sue churches that ring them on Sunday. Funny how they now want to hear them. As a Catholic priest, I will see to it that the bell of my parish is kept silent on December 13th. It is only used for sacred things, not for political gimmicks.
