There is another opportunity to squash this BS, get the utility companies to buy into the premise that if you are squatting or in foreclosure, utilities can not be turned on or maintain. It is only going to hurt them in the long run cause God knows that if the mortgage is not being paid then chances are the heat and water bills aren't either.

There's a couple of things I don't understand here:

1.) Homestead is illegal....so an outright violation of law will have no impact on this "project". When I was younger I worked for the Sheriff's Dept. and in cases like this these people were "dragged" out of their homes. If they return once it was a trespass ticket, 2 times was defiant trespass and prison time. While unsavory, the flood of the welfare system of the 60's and 70's may not have been outright legal violations, if, of course, fraud was not used to obtain benefits, which I am sure there was a lot of. But this "homestead" bs is outright illegal.

2.) How is it that these principals Of Coward (not an accident either) and Piven be widely know and talked about and there isn't a complete and utter outrage by people and I don't mean outrage like Oh Shucks! I MEAN OUTRAGE LIKE LET ME GET MY GUN AND STORM SH!T !!!!! OUTRAGE. If we don't learn from the mistakes of the past (mortgage disaster, welfare disaster, illegal immigration DISASTER) we ARE DOOMMED!!!
