So while we pay for sex offenders to live our rural property area's have no police patrol. Yea, that makes sense. Pay for someone to live that broke the law but don't protect the people that abide by the law. That's our government.
I was also on 126 late yesterday afternoon. A Leavits truck had pulled out in front of me out of the Leavits yard. Once we were on 126 I went to pass him and he keep speeding up so I could not go past him. I finally slowed down to 50 to get behind him. I think Leavitts needs to re-train their drivers and fire the ones that cannot follow the law.
You are unbelievable. I never said I was giving up. But is funny you are the only one telling us this. Everyone we know says tough love and to go on. Which I haven't. I worry about her terribly and don't sleep at night. I'm just saying we have done everything we can for her and at this point we can't get her home. However, when she is ready she will always have a home and all we want is her home safe.
I'm not blaming anyone else. I am just saying if was illegal to run aawy the police probably would have helped us. When we knew where she was we called them and they said sorry nothing we can do.
As I said you have no idea what we have done as parents to help her. Everything you have mentioned we have done. You say don't blame the government but go get state fianced counseling. For your information this is a govermnment agency and we have done all the counseling. Sometimes specially in this day and age you have teenagers thinking they are adults and there is nothing you can do. We didn't brake her we have done everything possible to help her including the ADD, ADHD, counceling, rehab everything. locks on computers, cell phone limiations everything. This is why she left because we have done all this.
So stop telling people it is there fault if you have NO CLUE as to what they have done.
Sorry for my mis-spelled words. I did this very quick.
It really upsets me that everyone is saying its the parents fault. For the 6th or 7th time my daughter took of again Friday. She jumpted out of the car because she was told her cell phone would be turned off because she was on it 24 / 7. We have done everything in our power the last 4 years to help her with any issue's she has. Nothing has worked. Ask anyone that know us and they will tell you we have gone above and beyond to help our daughter. She use to be a loving caring person and then got in the wrong ground in middle school and every time we think things are better and on the way up she takes off again.
Stop planning the parents since you don;t know them or their situation. Look at the fact that running away in Oregon is not illegal and our state system does nothing to help parents get their kids home safe and sound. All you hear is were sorry but there is nothing we can do.
If you want to put blame on someone look to our state laws. These kids know there is nothing a parent can do buy pray they are safe and final decide to make the right decisions.
I thank God that the police are looking for these children. I hope they are found safe and sound. I believe that whenever a child is missing the police should be looking for them. However, in Eugene and Springfield if they are runaways parents are told we are sorry for the pain you are going through but we can't do anything. It amazes me that when a child has ran away parents have no rights. When our daughter ran away we spend 6 weeks looking for someone to help us and were told SORRY nothing we can do. We need our state to step up and help parents and maybe there would be less kids on the street and less crime. Thank fully we have our daughter back home safe and sound but this was due to the time and effort we put in, with no help from anybody such as city, state and county police or CSD.
