First, I don't care that it didn't happen six years ago. Anyone following the thread that Former Secretary of State Rice so skillfully laid out in this interview knew the facts she stated as they happened. They are also readily available to anyone who cares to read rather than blather on carelessly.

Second, it's clear that O'Donnel had an agenda in the interview, which actually served Ms. Rice's goals well. All the simply incredulous claims that invading Iraq and ousting Hussein was a "mistake" at least serve to identify those who cannot be bothered by reality when it conflicts with some thought they have.

I believe the Bush administration went to extraordinary lengths to explain their reasons behind the war, and have since answered every single question regarding its necessity from the truly intellectually curious, as well as the intellectually bankrupt. What we never, ever hear from those who believe it was wrong are indictments made with equal passion - if at all - against Hussein's horrendously murderous regime. That would require actual analysis, which those who wade only their mind's shallow waters are too frightened to do.

Ok, I have NEVER read or heard the phrase, "...prepare for gall".

That just screams "T-Shirt Slogan".

Damn. Nice.

A pen - Man, John's point is good. We can't just immerse ourselves in a 24/7 analysis of political news. That's living in a vacuum, and it takes no time at all for perspectives to become distorted.

Life happens. It's good to notice it while we're part of it.

15 years ago @ Breitbart.com - Swing sets removed at ... · 0 replies · +2 points

The decision was reversed, and all swingsets are now staying put. There is a rule on the books in WV that REQUIRES all Elementary schools to provide a swingset on the grounds. Now, they have to find money to make it "litigious parents" proof.

Here's the rub - the school in question had to settle not one, but TWO lawsuits from the same parent(s). Not only did they sue over their son breaking his arm, another child fell off the monkey bars and fractured their nose, which also resulted in the parent(s) suing and getting some cash.

Here's a link to the story: http://www.wsaz.com/news/headlines/101937383.html

Personally? I wish we could put the photo of the parent(s) on a billboard here in WV, along with the amount they "won", then hold a photo caption contest to raise money for the new safety stuff the school now has to buy.

Everyone...

I have posted a few things around here from time to time, but mostly, I just read what y'all write. I really, really enjoy the wit, the wisdom, the patriotism, and the passion that you bring to the issues. You have no idea how many times you have made me laugh, pump my fist in the air, nearly cry, and repeat what you've said to others throughout my day.

Thank you, everyone, here at Brietbart. You folks are the best, and you restore my faith in humanity. Rallying here behind Debbie Lee (a hero if ever there was one, and her extraordinary son, my God, thank you both), your voices -and your votes - are what will ultimately stifle the enemies of freedom.

It is an honor to read your thoughts.

Wierd....my wife sunbathes nude all the time, and she too says some of her most profound revelations come when she's laying out.

Must be a woman thing. That, or the sun's rays touching otherwise-covered body parts ignite neurons like no tomorrow.
