A Flat Tax will not abolish the IRS, that would be a Fair Tax. With a Flat Tax we will be right back to where we are now.

A flat tax will not abolish the IRS, only a Fair Tax will do that or no federal taxes at all. If we have a Flat Tax the IRS will continue to exist and we will soon find ourselves in the same boat we are in now. No Flat Tax.

A Fair Tax is based on consumption not based on how much you work. No loopholes, no IRS, no crony paybacks. A simple tax collected when purchasing certain items. If we must have some kind of Federal tax, this would be the best way to go. At least it puts the control back with the person earning the paycheck rather than confiscation of your earnings and big brother deciding what is the best way to spend your money.

A flat tax would not abolish the IRS and therefore we could be right back where we are now. A Fair Tax at least gets rid of the IRS and puts the control back with the consumer. A consumer would be able to decide if they could afford to purchase something with the Fair Tax, (a consumer sales tax), prior to committing to that purchase.
