The Soviets waited while the only battle prepared men in Warsaw were slaughtered by the Nazis. They did this so the Soviets wound not have to fight those same men when they entered Poland themselves to take it over and make it a communist satellite – they’re not fools. The Soviets even blocked Britain and the U.S. from helping while the Poles cried out for help.
There is a debate about whether the Soviets intentionally did not help the Poles? I think not. The proof? Soviet troops moved into Warsaw on January 17, 1945 and executed and jailed the Polish Home Army members who were left after fighting the Nazis.

While I have always been for freedom of religion, we all know the burqa is a sign of oppression using the veil of religion as a means to subject women to a second class position. I pity France. It will now recognize itself in two generations. IN that case, Souter voted to take away land from homeowners and give the land to a private corporation to build commercial property which can make more tax money for the City of New London than the city can receive from the homeowners. A movement is still ongoing to buy Souter's farm out from under him in order to build a hotel on his farmsite that will generate more money for the town (Search "Lost Liberty Hotel" to read more. What a great plan and it will shove Souter's ideology right up his behind. I wish it could have been done before he retired so he would have nowhere to go "home" to except to a hotel, on his property, owned by a corporation, which will provide the town more tax income than Souter's farm - just as he wanted. A pox on Souter's family for what he has done to the people's Constitution in favor of government and more taxes. But that's what we get from liberal justices.
