I agree with you. Gerhard wrote that the State, which operates on the basis of human reason and the natural law, is the "safe haven" of the Church.

Karl, the "hospitality" argument was used in support of the ELCA's change in viewpoint on same-sex "marriage" and clergy expectations.

Paul knew exactly what homosexual activity is: sin. Some Christians today, however, dismiss Paul as being unenlightened because he supposedly was ignorant about sexual orientation. That concept is relatively new. But Paul (and Jesus!) is still correct.
