What government fails to realize when they pass a new law, or decide to enforce one is that they have to have the staff, computer networks and paper in place to handle it and most of the time they don't. I wouldn't pay one of those accident response bills. Maybe when 911 answers a call they should first notify you that you have to pay before services will be rendered.

FINALLY! Other countries' leaders are standing up to Obama.

This country wasn't founded on a bunch of fools sticking their heads in the sand. Where I come from, you fall off a horse, dust yourself off and get right back on. I never wanted someone to do it for me and pat me on the head.

If a company is going to fail, let them fail. When you make one industry worthy of a bailout, which more likely it's failed because of bad mgmt and bad decisions, then you have to pick everyone else up.

Maybe the real problem is we shouldn't have bailed Chrysler out in the late 70's.

Soooo, the school just wants a bunch of big brains roaming around like zombies without any human physical contact. This goes way past MICROMANAGEMENT.

Here's a slogan for the school, this will really attract people to their school district-Come to our school and forget your humanity, liberty and freedom.

Everyone has a right to organize. What would the city do if everyone showed up anyways and they didn't have insurance or a permit? So now if their local high school football team has a celebration, would they make them get a permit too???

Well just dandy. Let's just jump right over socialism and head straight to communism. Congress is a joke. A constitutional republic is not designed to compete with the private sector. That's why it's called private. Sure companies won't have to directly figure the cost of healthcare into the cost of doing business with this junk legislation, the Obamasi's (Obama/Pelosi) and T3 (turbo tax Tim) will just tax them into closing their business.

Perhaps the real issue is that if a HOSIERY store was robbed 14 times last year, then the city and state should allow law-abiding citizens to carry concealed weapons.

Not to mention the amount of times that police officers make serious judgment errors on things like privacy and unreasonable search and seizure, can you imagine having a less-trained force? How are the citizens supposed to know that a security guard hired by the city doesn't have a right to do a search and seizure?

And then there's the issue of impostors. Seems as if it'd be much easier to impostor a city security guard than a police officer. We are talking about Chicago.

This is insane! I don't agree with the bonuses but now Obama and company have buyers remorse. Guess they should've read the fine print. The AIG execs have as much right to privacy as those fools bombarding their PRIVATE homes. I'm sure the execs amassed their wealth prior to the bailout.

I've had many people over the years say to me I'm so lucky to be a state employee. Look at everything I have. Do you know what the difference is? I paid attention in school. I EARNED what I have.

What's the quickest way to socialism? Start a class war.

Since they were nationalized, the employees should be on the same federal employee classification and pay system. Barney was in his position then, so why is he outraged now?
