Thank you – it is nice to meet a rationale individual. Please note, I wholeheartedly support Glen’s efforts. You need not pray for me, but if you wish I will not take it as an affront, as it is your right to do or not. My ancestors were part of the founding of this country and the principle of Freedom of Religion was one of the driving forces, along with taxation without representation. My country can force me to pay taxes, but unless a particular religion takes over our country, I do not expect to be forced to follow any specific religious belief.
I agree with you on term limits.

It is apparent we are very different, though we may both believe something drastic needs to be done. However, you sound prone to be hostile to anyone who has the slightest difference of opinion from your own. Do you feel everyone should walk in lock step with how you feel? That is exactly how Hitler, Stalin, Mao, Sadam Hussein and other famous tyrants felt – either with them or against them. History tells how they dealt with the ones who did not agree. With 6 Billion people on the earth, do you think there could be more than 1 approach to solving an issue?

You missed the point – whose God is best????????????????????????????????????????????????
Obviously, you believe yours is and you would fight to the death to prove it – as will the muslums and other religious jerks who want their religion to ultimately reign over the world. I believe as an American (a Viet Nam War veteran) I am entitled to the Right of Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness. As one who put his life on the line for his country, I have earned those rights. Have you?

Chill out and live as you profess and leave your feelings about God to your own personal belief, not worn on your sleeve as a badge for some other religious freak to knock it off, because he believes his God is better than yours.

Your type is exactly what has fueled all the past wars. Who was Stalin, Hitler and Mao targeting and why? Evil people come in all sizes, colors and beliefs. Good people do not have to believe in your God or anyone elses.

Give me a world of good people, just doing right by their family, friends and country.

Religion has been the cause of more wars and conflicts in the world than any other source. If there is one God, whose God is he? Who says your God is better than mine? If there is one, he would be the same, wouldn't he? I am an agnostic and believe a person can treat others morally without believing in a God. Who says you have to believe in a God to live and function as a contributor to our society? Therefore principle number 2 should be revised to be inclusive of everyone who believes you should treat others as you would have them treat you.
