I had the opportunity to meet John Finn and two other World War II Congressional Medal of Honor recipients recently in Altamont, NY. The Valley Swim Club signed a contract with the day care center. Whether the VSC knew the parentage of the children is not material. I don't know, but I would assume the fee paid by the day care center was for up to a given number of children, so the VSC shouldn't claim ignorance.

It's also my understanding that the VSC signed contracts with other groups.

I'm assuming the VSC didn't do a good job of letting their members know that a largish group of children would be using the facility.

That the VSC chose to cater to the bigotry of one or more of the members rather than try to negotiate a compromise or stick with their contract shows the inherent emotional weakness of the American leftist.

To American leftists, bigotry is a crime unless they are directly involved with dealing with the people for whom they claim concern, then the true nature of the American leftist shows through. It is THEY who are the true bigots and hate mongerers.

In my experience it is the leftist who is the NIMBYist.

No doubt about it. Up to now, economics and pricing were the means to ration a scarce resource, i.e., medical care. Once the Obamacrats get done, the government will decide who gets health care and how much. Guess who will be taken care of the best? The worse?

Joe Haldeman in "The Forever War" warns about this scenario. Government and corporate "executives" get all the health care they care to get. Most of the people, at the bottom, get none at all.
