I live in Middlesbrough.I often visit the 'South Gare' on the Tees estuary which necessitates driving past the Corus Steelworks.When I do this I need to close my windows but the smell from the Works still gets in to my car.So when I get to fresh air again I open my windows to let the stink out.
When I reach the South Gare ,I sometimes look behind and see the ugly steelworks which are a blot on an otherwise beautiful landscape.It belches out ugly smoke and pollutes the skyline sometimes posioning the clouds.Is this closure bad news or good news?
