Thanks for the suggestion. In fact we are covering the National Guardsmen and Reserve troops deployed in Afghanistan during this year. Be sure to read about the Medivac units who are supporting soldiers injured in battle. There is a great article named Angels Among Them written by a volunterer names GIna Lenzi. Be sure to check it out and stay tuned for more.

Infrastructure projects are a win-win for the state and for the public. Projects like these create good paying jobs, stimulate the economy, and add much needed transportation infrastructure. The legislature needs to move quickly and make the tough choices needed to bring the budget crisis to an end. By cutting wasteful spending, creating jobs and stimulating business we'll be able to pull the State out of this economic downturn. California was one of the hardest hit states due to the real estate meltdown. If we act quickly and make smart budget decisions we'll shorten the recovery and kick-start the California economy.

Absolutely nothing to do with Rancho. We're trying to add a little entertainment into the daily news. Many people like the comics in the daily newspaper and we would like to bring a few webcomics to our readers to break up the doom and gloom of the bad economy.

The difficult part might be in finding translators for all the foreign languages. Does California have enough foreign language trained translators to provide this service? Also, there might be a dozen or more languages spoken in California. Will each facility have to have translators for all the languages at all times. It could become difficult to manage.
