I just saw the film at the Landmark cinema in Waltham, MA in a packed theater and it was excellent! Best science fiction film of the decade! From the trailer, it gives off a 'brain-fuck' vibe, but it isn't at all. Everything is clearly explained and the movie has great flow where every scene stands out on its own. It made ~$231,000 the last week in CA & NY and cost $5 million. I guess they will do a wider release later on or expect to make the money back on DVD. If this film doesn't get nominated for the Academy Awards, I would be very surprised.

Can we start a campaign to contact Sony Pictures Classics to get them to make this wider? Sony_Classics@spe.sony.com

It is easy to bring her back and have it seem logical. The bullet went through her cellebellum (brain), but didn't kill her. She was rescued and left in a coma for a few years. She has no memory of her past and it is her who has to discover who she is and that is where she meets up with our hero.

I have Amblyopia in my right eye and have major trouble with 3D film. I got a contact lens to help balance out the vision. Depth perception was really new and took time to get use to, for example, how far things were. But prior to this moment, my left eye dominated viewing and I could still see depth, but it is more like watching depth in a 2D film versus both eyes in 3D. Because of the dominance with one eye over the other, 3D film viewing was nearly impossible and gave me a severe headache. But there are some new 3D tVs coming out that make it easier: http://technology.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/tech...
