Don't know about Scott Ritter's view's on Iran's nukes. I'm inclined to believe them. But I question his knowledge of Iran's domestic politics.
He has one Gerald or Jerald or something Cohen spending $60,000,000 on introducing Iranians to Twitter (as if Iranians, who are the most connected people in the Middle East outside of Israel and Turkey, need American help on this!). I remember nothing about this and could find nothing about this online. There was a Jerad Cohen who was responsible for getting Twitter to reschedule its overhaul shut-down so Iranian kids could communicate after the election. Is this the Cohen that Mr. Ritter means?

I'd like to know his source about the $100,000,000 (I'm quoting from memory) poured by Saudi Arabia into the Iranian elections. This is the first I've heard about it. Yes, the Saudis would've been pleased to be rid of Ahmadinejad, but their impact on the elections were probably pretty minimal. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/jamal-dajani/saudi-... for example.
There's lots more, but this will suffice for now. I just get a strong feeling that Ritter does not really know much about Iran and is covering this up with bluster and posturing.
