Though he does have a right to say these things as an American citizen, I'm still kinda disappointed by how vile this guy can get. I know he's a comedian (and I got a buddy who thinks Maher's the best thing since sliced bread) but I thought most liberals were supposed to be understanding and tolerant of those different then themselves? I stopped being interested in House when one of the main characters killed himself unexpectedly (I won't name him/her in case of spoiling it for anyone). Basically, the actor wanted off the show and it was written in to show that even seemingly well-adjusted people can have issues with depression. However, by the next episode, it was mostly forgotten which felt really odd to me. We also stopped watching CSI: Las Vegas right around the same time as House. Justin Bieber appeared in a bizarre Anti-Tea Party related episode. Both shows have had good runs and it's about time to hang it up, in my opinion.

Looking forward to this, as I'm a big fan of the character. And though I did like some things about the first one, it doesn't look like it will truly be connected in a lot of ways. (so not to worry on those who haven't seen it) The character of Ghost Rider is about as far away from whiny PC superheroes as you can get.

I DVR'd the Jimmy Fallon show last night and despite it being painfully uncomfortable to watch at times, I didn't notice them mentioning the Bachman incident whatsoever. (which confirms all those who post here at BH who said that a "Twitter apology is a Non-Apology") Not only was there no light slap on the wrist for Questlove on-air, they even had a segment where he spoke to the viewing audience one-on-one to promote their newest album. NBC could have easily had him not mention their new CD, if they were truly unhappy with him. Just ain't right.

Could you imagine a scene in a movie depicting a United States President going onto a talk show and acting like he did? Being so casual would come off as un-presidential and not realistic.
