I met one of my all time heroes thursday! I've just come back from Afghanistan and we had a home coming march through Salisbury, our garrison town. Our regiment's Patron and good friend is Sir Geoff Hurst! I got a red England 66 shirt signed by him and my West Ham shirt that he signed, to dave, up the irons! He was an amazingly nice man, and very funny. He told me some brilliant stories about Bobby Moore.
At last ! I'm starting to fancy our chances of staying up now!
And mouche later this week, They've done alright. Still think we need another striker, mouche is an attacking midfielder. But with colly and big hitz back, all of a sudden with look like quite a tasty team. I fancy us now.
I can't see the problem, he's coming on loan. That rules out the element of risk, he certainly knows where the goal is, will be very keen to impress to not go back to Germany. I think it's win win. I've got a feeling Stoke will be kicking themselves that they didn't take a punt on him. We still need more faces.
This is sad to see, I when ever i'm serving over seas and desperatly want to catch up on the latest news from my beloved hammers. I always always check this site out first, for lots of reasons, but mostly because it's a fans site. We may all have different views on; who should or shouldn't be signed, who played well or should be dropped what formation works. But something we had in common was we were hammers and loved West Ham unconditionally. But now everybody just snipes and argues with one another. We are losing our identity as fans as much is our club is. And that has never been the case, which makes it all the more upsetting. It's a sad day when a fan asks others if Matthew Upson is still our captain and nobody replies, yet they would much rather reply to someone who wants to argue and be petchalent children. I guess the rott at our club is from top to bottom.
Is Upson still our captain? It's just after the match with Avram the bloke kept saying, It must of been tough not having your captain Scott Parker to play tonight. He said it like three times.
