Totally, Andrew! Plus, it's believable in that (1) it's his "shift" and he really can't abandon it, and (2) he's ultimately a news broadcaster and would feel naturally that this is his place to be.

See, I really liked that aspect! :) It felt more like what I might actually experience. I sure wouldn't go out and see what was going on, LOL!

Wow, I've actually seen this movie!! And I totally enjoyed it. You're right, the guy is completely believable as a talk radio guy. And I appreciate a zombie movie that isn't totally blood and guts... if that isn't a strange combination to desire, LOL!

I agree most strongly with your last point about the lack of strong female characters. I'm not saying that there isn't room for pure entertainment, but it would be great to see more role models for young women.

It would hardly surprise me, given that Hollywood glamorizes nothing but youth. "She's 20? Way over the hill!"

Also, what happened to -- "It's the seriousness of the allegation that merits investigation!" Never mind if there's any truth to it, right??

But that's good too! Subversive conservatism! Get 'em while they're young! :D

Good point about Harry not being anything special. In fact, he starts off in the wizarding world far behind most of his compatriots. He wasn't raised surrounded by it and he doesn't have the support of his own family. In that sense, he's the classic kid from the wrong side of the tracks who makes good.

Another good article, Andrew!

Thanks for the review! I haven't seen this either, but I'll go check it out.
