Did you copy the crack to your installation directory?

I'd say ban it from here.

You both need the same version of Portal 2 and also the same crack (crackfix). I tried it with some tunngle users and its working fine for me. I dont know why it is not working for you but I'll tell you if I found a solution for your problem.

How to Coop with Hamachi or Tunngle:

1. Activate the console (right click your shortcut and select "properties". In the Target field add "-console" (w/o quotes) i.e. "Program Files|Portal 2|portal2.exe" -console

1.1 Its highly recommended to bind a key to open the console since it vanishes pretty often. To do so open the "config.cfg" in |Portal 2|portal2|cfg and add: bind "X" "toggleconsole" (where X stands for the key you want to use) and save it.

2. One guy hosts the other guy connects. (Be sure you connect BEFORE the other guy hosts, otherwise it will give you an error)

3. Connect to the other player by typing "connect IP" in the console (where IP stands for the IP the host got) and press enter.

4. The host now immediatly hosts the server by typing "map MAPNAME" (i.e. map mp_coop_start) in the console (only mp_coop maps will work on multiplayer) and presses enter.

5. If everything worked right you can now play together!

Try unzipping the files with 7zip (open the .001 one). It worked good for me with it.

Yes it is for PC. Guess the author accidently wrote "Exclusively on: Xbox 360" since its out for PC now too.
