I am not saying that people that oppose Obama are racist. He isn't doing a good job. I'm talking about the comments calling Mrs.Obama a "gorilla,""baboon," "sheboon," etc.Perhaps she isn't the most attractive woman in the world, but this is simply uncalled for and yes, it is racist.

By the way, I am a college graduate, gainfully employed, and I don't ask or blame anybody for a damn thing.

I agree, VirgilnDante, and I am giving you a thumbs up!

There are decent, hard-working, non-violent and moderate Muslims who love this country -- I've met them. They really hate bin-Laden and the way the other extremists have given them a bad name. One of my daughter's friends is a Muslim and she's known him for fifteen years. He and his family are very nice people.

As for gays and lesbians -- ever hear of hating the sin and loving the sinner? Do you think Jesus would hate gay people or Muslims?

I agree 100 percent. This guy should be thrown in one of our American prisons, in general population. "Bubba" and company will take good care of him.

Thanks Irish, I agree with you 100 percent. Just because something is part of someone's "culture" doesn't make it right. Female genital mutilation has been part of some cultures for centuries, does that mean it's okay?

When I was in Spain a few years back (which, BTW, is a beautiful country) my husband wanted to go to a bullfight and I said "no." I don't want to see ANY living thing tortured like that. You don't have to be a PETA member to have compassion.

And no, I never eat meat!

Hmm . . . I'm not a big fan of Sarah Palin -- she seems like an opportunist and I don't like the way she quit as governor of Alaska -- but I can't understand why some people just hate her so much. It's totally bizarre!
