John, great article. When people talk about how vitriolic politics is, I think they are ignorant of our history. Check out what some of the papers wrote during the founder's time, and how openly partisan they were. It makes most of what we see now seem tempered.
I agree that we should welcome the heated debate and let the chips fall where they may.
They are trying to get the college drones back to the polls but it won't work. They're lucky to have held their attention long enough to get them to vote in '08. I'm sure it took the all the might of the gray pony-tailed draft dodging professors but now the kids are too busy focusing on what they do best: nothing.
I stopped watching CSI a while ago and I'm sure I'm not the only one. A big part of it was that I got tired of seeing people shot, beaten, hanged, bleeding all over the place, etc. It really started disturbing me. But once they venture into "Law and Order: Liberal Loons Gone Wild" territory, they will ultimately destroy their own show. And good riddance. There is enough trash on the tube to choose from.
Funny I don't remember Bush whining incessantly about the media... Come to think about it I don't remember him going on cheesy degrading talk shows, blaming Clinton for all his problems, cursing on national TV, getting involved in Connecticut police affairs or New York zoning issues, bowing before foreigners, et al.
I wouldn't consider myself a Bush fan but man he looks like George friggin Washington next to this guy...
Painful to watch. And if the clip makes your skin crawl, good Lord, the show is gonna make you want to jump in the shower and scrub until you bleed...
"I don't know - Star Trek: Generations made me want to commit suicide. For a minute, anyway."
Ha! That's great. Actually I could probably find a few minutes that were torture. The beginning was great though....
I didn't even need to see Avatar to know that it's no Star Trek IV: Whale Wars. And anyway, Avatar makes people want to commit suicide, not join Starfleet.....
Judging by a clip I saw on Youtube, Obuma sucks at golf almost as much as he sucks at running the country. Difference is his golf game doesn't ruin people's lives...
If this dope had half a brain in his head he would have become a voice for conservatism. He would have made good money, been on all of the conservative TV and radio shows, and actually scored some real respect from people instead of being a freak show that is used by the elite a-holes. I find it ironic but that doesn't change the fact that he is a complete tool.
