Yes he was a fantastic musician, he influenced millions, he was charitable (from what I have heard), but he was also accused for molestation and what not. He went through a weird change in his life. I have opened my eyes and asked: Why aren't people talking about our soldiers dying for our country on the other side of the world? Nobody is. People idolize him (not that its wrong), but it gets to a point where people care more about what Michael Jackson had for breakfast than wonder what is happening to those for the country. I think it's sad. I just hate how people act when a celebrity passes on, but have no clue how many people are dying for us. There are more important people in this world other than celebrities. So if all of the Republicans vote anything that is thrown on the table, and waking Democrats oppose it, I don't think they will have the votes to pass a reform. I applaud the Democrats for standing up for what is right. I don't see health reform going anywhere.
