CoD4 was $60, so was the GotY edition. At least when both were first released. Did the regular edition drop in price when the GotY one came out?

This game was highly underrated. It is not as though it is a great great game, but when it came out, it was definitely higher up there. If found cheap, anyone into FPS owes it to themselves to pick it up. Funny though, I never thought of Portal or this game, yet that makes complete sense. One thing I wished that this game had, was more levels that took place on earth before going up to space. The bar was well done.

Next review should be: "The Darkness" .. HIGHLY underrated. Such a good game. Even had a cool multiplayer with little demons being playable.

I think it is no conspiracy, just the sad plain truth. A lot of developers/publishers don't care for the used game market. That is why they try and offer incentives that only people who buy a game new will get (like Rock Band 2, the free 20 tracks you get when buying new. CoD4 GotY edition when it first came out, offered the dlc maps free)

For $10, I would *think* about picking it up. I am particular to some games in the 'shmups' genre (Omega Five on XBLA is my current favorite). Still, I watched some video now of this Monkey King on YouTube and it looks like it was done on an N64 (i'm being nice here)

I think if they aren't ready for double xp weekend... then a second double xp weekend the release week of the new playlists would be in order (a double double xp weekend.. a hur hur hur)
