I guess I understand the gist of what your trying to say; but if I deny my Jewishness that is part of me I would feel like a coward; I'm sure I will be having long conversations with a rabbi over this.

Thank you: I agree with most of what you say, but I do identify with Jews, because I am half Jewish, I know many more Jews then I do gentiles, in all parts of my life past and present... I will find it helpful to get advice from a Orthodox rabbi..like someone suggested to me, here...but I will not convert unless of course God wishes it so... I like the Orthodox Jews because they think so much like me in their religious beliefs...but, I think we are all born from God, and who knows what country that was in...I don't even know if God seen it as a country with a name, when he created man, and his creatures at the beginning of time.

I did not vote for Obama because I think he is incompetent...I consider him to be half-Muslim, and I consider myself to be half-Jewish...he is a half-Muslim and I am white, and he is black... we both have Irish mothers...I don't care that he has a Muslim heritage, and I don't think he should deny his heritage, because he is a president, or because of social political issues.

But, I wish he would renounce Marxism, and the Muslim brotherhood terrorists, black terrorist Marxists, and work with the Israelis and the non-militant Muslims, and non-militant blacks and non-militant black Muslims to stop the terrorists; though with that political view he might only get 65% to 75% of the black vote...during the civil rights era, the blacks were split 50 50, one half not wanting the civil rights laws to pass, and the other wanting them passed.

It cannot be and easy thing for Obama, just as I cannot simply deny my Jewish heritage by simply saying I am not a Jew, a non-Jew, though it may be true spiritually or religiously, it also may not be true, after all is said and done...God knows all.

For example if I walked into one of these Arab countries that are the neighbors, of the Israelis, and said I was a non-Jew, because of Jewish religious laws, they would probably laugh in my face and possibly kill me; because I would have mistakenly believed, I was not a Jew because both the Jews and the Muslims, say I'm not a target,as a Jew or a Zionist...but in reality I am a half Jew ultra Zionist.

Thank you for your kind answer...I have spoken to what I think was a Reform Rabbi in person years ago, and a Conservative Rabbi over the phone, and he said I was a Jew...I knew that was not factual... but nevertheless, I probably will seek advice from a Orthodox Rabbi... if one will talk with me...about how to sort this out...I think mostly like a Orthodox Jew... I'm not going to convert, but it can't hurt to talk with him.

I called a synagogue in Rhode Island, and spoke to the President of the synagogue when I was doing research about my family, and he said I was a relative.

Your question answered my question...thank you...I am a half Jew, and will continue to call myself that until the world thinks of something better...I even asked (kindly) the Jews here... that I'm assuming are mostly Israelis, if they have a better word; I have no ego... so I would not mind calling myself a Jew, half Jew, or a non Jew, if I was given a reasonable answer to my question.

No, I am not suicidal; but it would be a form of suicide if I did not consider myself, as being a Jew in any way under heritage, or under religion when most of rest of the world considers me to be one; other then the Jews.

No, I did not vote for Obama or McCain, nor will I vote for Obama or Romney, but I will vote the Democrats locally.

With no disrespect intended; then how would you suggest I define myself?...with a Jewish father, a Jewish name, I look Jewish, talk Jewish, act Jewish, think Jewish (without even studying any Jewish laws) ….I'm from a secular Jewish father, having a Jewish identity.... whom in may ways is similar to Bernie Madoff.

If I do not learn about my Jewish half, in this age of militant Islamic terrorism... I could put my life in danger... because under fanatical Islamic terrorist laws of the Muslim brotherhood, etc,... I'm a Jew, and thus targeted by them...perhaps, even more then Israelis, because my Jewish heritage may have been involved the House of Rothschild.

My handwriting style, is even literally exactly like my grandfather's whom was Jewish.

I agree with the terrorists evicted; there will be no violence, and thus not being able to organize politically or socially in global way...making the world more peaceful, civilized, and free.

I agree with everything you say from around the 80s on; but, in the 60s liberal pacifists were in complete control of the peace movements, that knew how to affect social and political changes.

There could have been a few fringe groups that were Marxist/communist like in the 80s but they were powerless in the 60s.

For example, was JFK a communist? No. Was Gandhi a communist? No...Gandhian non-violence was central to the peace movements in the 60s....India is the largest democracy in the world...Was King a communist? No..because spiritually, and religion (God) cannot mix with Marxism, because in Marxism there is no God; and the communists would seek to purge those that believed in God from their membership roles, if they sought to join.

Let freedom ring central to King's speech in the 60s was a biblical message, used in a secular non-violent manner.

Obama is a card carrying Communist card member; but I doubt most of his voters that are poor care.

If he has not publicly torn, or burnt up his card, he will use it to get votes from the poor.

So, only a true liberal pacifist as myself, would not vote for Obama or Romney, as a member of the Democratic party, because I know that totalitarian militaristic politics of Marxism/Communism cannot mix with liberal pacifistic politics.....most Democrats and Republicans do not know what being a liberal even means. Most Democrats are to afraid to even call themselves liberal; but rather call themselves progressive.

I doubt the powers that be in the Republican party, or Republican pundits will touch his being a communist with a ten foot pole; because to attack it at its roots they would have to look at militarism in the United States, and the military has a 88% approval rating.

You might find some liberal Democrats with a ax to grind with Obama, would like to go with it, and publicly demand that Obama tear up his card, which would be great thing for America.

When they first built the bomb... they thought... it would bring world peace, forever, because people would fear the bomb so much they would not want to go to war; but today people are to afraid of living in world without fear i.e., the Stockholm syndrome on steroids.
