I think you are the racist one. You are implying that the Acorn workers lack the intelligence to spot a "Disney style" pimp suit. You are one sad sack. Please don't have kids, and go seek out a vasectomy ASAP. Are all the members of Congress who voted to stop funding ACORN racists too? What about all the people who voted against Obama?
57,212,032 racists, guess we have a lot of work to do.

Shiniqua, if indeed you are serious, I recommend taking some English classes. Your grammar skills are horrible.

"wit" is not a word. You live in Detroit and can't even spell it right. You must be a moocher.

There is no way Eric Boehlert and Brad Friedman can actually believe what they are writing. The videos speak for themselves and if indeed they were doctored, the story would have been over by now. These guys love to fuel the conspiracy fire to their fellow lunatic followers.

My father came to the U.S from Cuba when he was ten years old. He was part of the deemed despicable bourgeoisie that Castro hated. Before things became too crazy he and his entire family left their estate with only one suitcase per family member and flew to New York City. You know what he did? He worked is butt off, made excellent grades, went to a nice private college, and assimilated. He has provided so much for me and my two other brothers. He came here with nothing and because of lots of hard work, he has EARNED wealth. Every time I hear people say that unless you are rich, you will never be successful in the U.S, I think of my dad and feel sorry for how ignorant those people are.

How can you cut taxes for 95% of people when almost half do not pay taxes? His tax cut for me was like an extra $12 on my paycheck. Next time think before you type and get your facts straight, oh wait, never mind liberals don't use facts only feelings.

Be patient friend. There is a lot of work to do and it will take time. Turning back the clock on liberalism will not happen overnight.

There are many different motivations to the tea partiers, but the most important goals is for us to encourage our representatives to go back to following our founding principles. Our nation was founded on the idea of a small, limited government that would not infringe on it's citizens freedoms. We don't need politicians to solve our everyday problems. My advice to you is to go attend one for yourself. IMO, that is the only way to get a true feel of what the tea parties are all about.

Last year when I was 27, I organized the first Tea Party (with the help of some great people) in Raleigh, NC on March 21st. It was great, about 400+ people came and it helped spawn a bigger rally that took place on April 15 of last year that coincided with the other Tax day Tea Parties. Over 10,000 people came to that one. I gave a speech at the beginning on the March 21st Tea Party and it was received well. Here is what I said:

I want to thank Americans for Prosperity for helping to plan our event for today, all the private citizens who helped, but most importantly, I want to thank all of you for coming out here today.

I am here today not as someone who is trying to embark on a political career, nor am I someone who is affiliated with any kind of political organization, but instead as someone who is deeply concerned about what has been taking place in Washington. I am not a rich person, but I do live a rich life and I can attribute that to being fortunate enough to live in the greatest country in the world.

It is obvious that no matter what our political beliefs are, we can all agree that we do not like the way Washington is spending our tax dollars. At a time when we are all cutting back, spending less, and trying to save more, Washington is spending ridiculous amounts of money. Money Washington does not have.

Here are some examples of the wasteful spending that can be found in the supposed Stimulus Plan:
5 million dollars to food distribution programs on Indian Reservations,
100 million dollars to Crime Victim Assistance
125 million dollars for Rural Drug Crime Preventions

These dollar amounts are a mere fraction of the total of the 787 billion dollar Stimulus Plan.

Now, these all may be “nice ideas”, but how are these and all the other wasteful spending projects going to stimulate the economy?

That is an easy answer. They will not.

Or

What about the mortgage bailout? Our president thinks it is a good idea to give 275 billion dollars to people, who had no businesses getting a house in the first place. Our President is rewarding bad behavior. President Obama, if you reward bad behavior, you are only going to get more of it.

Jokingly,

Many of us have probably said to ourselves; “Where is our bailout? We have done everything the right way and we are having to pay for the mistakes of others. The good thing is, we do not want a bailout. We all subscribe to the idea of personal responsibility and we all live within our means. If something goes awry in our lives, we do not look to the government for help. Instead, we look to ourselves. This is a message that we need to start spreading because the more people we can get on board, the better for our country.

Speaking of rewarding bad behavior, we too can share a little part of the blame. We can no longer reward our elected officials, who are not putting our interest first, with the gift of office. We have to stay vigilant in our watch over our elected officials and make sure that they are doing what is best for our country and not themselves. If we do not, we will continue to get the same kind of poor representation we are getting today.

Samuel Adams once said, “It does not require a majority to prevail, but rather an irate, tireless minority keen to set brush fires in people’s minds.

Today we may be a minority, but we are going to continue having these types of rallies until we get enough people as angry and as concerned as all of us here today, and until we can find people that we can elect, who will represent us properly

I want to stress to everyone that today’s rally is not a one and done type of an event, but the start of a movement here in North Carolina.

Thank you again for coming here today and I encourage everyone of you to visit one of our sign up tables and leave your information, so we can send you updates about future rallies.

Alinsky was not about "getting poor and working class people more power to get more of what they think they need". He was about using their frustrations with their living situaion that was self created to manipulate them into thinking it was all because of the rich. When it was no fault, but their own. Everybody has a chance to make it in the U.S. Some have a head start, but anybody can be wealthy or poor in our country. The CHOICE is theirs to make.
