Counselor-stop pandering and dancing with your math. These are your words from a few weeks ago "I figure there's 1500 or so votes in the school community, which means 450 have to vote just to attain a quorum. I'm doubtful (and glad) that there probably won't be turnout close to that. Recalls are a terrible way to run anything -- a school or a government. Just a lousy idea."
You underestimated the # of people that disagree with you by quite a substantial margin, but now cling to the very same small number that you discounted (not knowing that it would be your side) as some form of banner of legitimacy? You are a fraud and a hipocrite. Your support for bullies and stance against teachers reeks of that elitist stench that will catch up to you. A weasel is smart and clever but eventually ...

Folks- the math looks pretty simple.

A majority of the poulation participated in the vote. 30% required 59% participated

A majority of those voting wanted a recall 63% for richards, the loud mouthed bully but it did not meet the 66% threshold.
A majority of those voting wanted a recall 59% for wiletto, the bumbling baker but it did not meet the 66% threshold.

Therfore, per the by laws the parents have to accept this as a cruel and expensive reminder that participation is important.

The board has to ralize they are there becasue of a slight statistical anomaly and that most parents are not happy with them.

The EDE has to realize that her days are numbered so she may have to apply for a job at the bakery along with her dear pal richards.

The teachers will hopefully see that a majority of parents are on their side and speak truth to power and keep fighting for the kids.

let's just hope that the kids have a good year. Let's also hope that Richards uses the remaining 4 months of his term to network with the remaining parents becasue once his name comes up in the upcoming layoffs at HP he willbe forced towork at Wiletto's bakery or head back to Montana

Counselor-so if they are to hire fire why did they abdicate that role, have the silly bimbo posing as director fire roni and then present them witha fait accomplit?
Stop pandering!

..and therefore you should also give some benefit of the doubt to the pricipal who is a proven educator (see resume) has worked with kids for decades, is loved by other teachers and parents, and stands up for kids, including yours that go to P2P. Yet you somehow rely on an unqualified EDE and an elected board with no background in education. Unless your kid suffered some unknown mistreatment at the hands of this evil prinicipal who you seem to believe deserves it your logic is flawed.

Are you one of those consulted lawyers? You may not care about stigmatizing children but you too must know it is a "big deal" and actually the disclosure of that information is illegal. So hop into your fancy little hooptie, get to your nearest law library and read up on why disclosure of such material is illegal counselor.

...and it shows a level of professionalism that merits questioning. Is that how VPs at HP conduct meetings when Meg Whitman the CEO of HP runs meetings? To fire Roni for being "unprofessional" because she stood up for kids' rights while acting as the classoom bully among a group of adults that are supposed to set an example is laughable.

Richards, Reeser, Wiletto and the latest mouthpiece in this group of clowns -Todd -are a prime example of the highly toxic combination of arrogance mixed with incompetence. Let's for a moment accept the software glitch argument as fact. That does not address the flawed policy that was in place. The problem is that they stilldo not accept that hand stamping was wrong even though they now say they agreed to stop it.

To those on this forum, the board or in the community that think it is innocuous, I say you are either social or literal Neanderthals that have yet to evolve or are callous insensitive biggots. The research and literature on social stigma is out there. The damage it does to kids and their ability to stay focused is documented. Stop trying to defend the indefensible.

It is just beginning. Like Niwot above said the first rule of digging yourself out of a hole-Stop digging. from day one this board and the attorney have created a PR debacle of epic proportions. Not answering, relying on a goofball lawyer, being rude to parents, abdicating their role to an unqualified EDE. Open mouth insert foot is the play book and it is getting worse each time.
