I like your suggestion. Signs could be made pointing out the "common sense" approach to having the Postal Workers do the Census instead of Acorn being "PAID" to fudge the numbers. I intend to attend our local Tea Party in Bel Air, MD on July 4th. I hope and pray WE THE PEOPLE have a huge turn out everywhere in the country on July 4th. God Bless America!!

I took your suggestion and called every Rep. listed except Butterfield. I called twice and got a busy signal. I will keep trying. "We The People" need to keep up the pressure. We can't let Obama and the Dems pass Government Health Care either. As Glenn Beck would say, "We surround them. They work for us." Thanks for the info.

President Obama doesn't have the guts to do it. Closiing the border would make him look like the "bad guy". We should know by now that he wouldn't do anything to put himself in a bad light. I don't think he gets it. He is in the White House to lead not to be loved and approved by all.

I attended the Tea Party Rally at the courthouse in Bel Air, Md. on April 15. It made me feel so good to know that I was able, along with many others, to express my anger about the government's out of control spending, I love my country and don't want the kind of "Change" our present administration wants to implement. I'm ready for another rally. How about a million ( or more) citizen's march on Washington on July 4th. If We the People were able to make the Tea Parties a success, I know we can do it again. I heard Rush Limbaugh on his radio program this morning say the same thing about the Secretary of Homeland Security and her perception of the "Right" and our returning soldiers and Marines from Iraq. Has our government lost their collective MINDS!!! Now more than ever before, we must come together to defend our Constitution and speak out and take our wonderful country back. America the land of the free and the brave has always been a REALITY.....don't let the present administration and Congess make it only a MEMORY. God Bless our country.

I made a poster that says "Next Time - READ THE BILL" and stapled tea bags on the sides of the poster. I will be attending the rally at the courthouse in Bel Air, MD and looking forward to joining many others. We need to let Congress know that THEIR OUT OF CONTROL SPENDIING MUST STOP. As I commented earlier, likeminded people need to come together and form a "We the People" organization. Someone wrote back and offered two very good suggestions. 1. Develop a mission statement. 2. Figure a way to get the word out to see how many people would be interested in becoming a member. Well, I took the first suggestion and acted on it. Below is a rough draft of "We the People" mission statement. Let me know what you think and feel free to give me your version. Wouldn't it be great if we could get something started. Mission Statement: The purpose of We the People Organization is to unite unite one banner those people of our great nation who believe in the Constituion of the United States and advocate conservative values. As one voice, we will dedicate ourselves to uphold the values held by our founding fathers and use our voices and our votes to place good and honest people who will represent us in local, state and federal government.

Many in our country are downright angry about what is happening in Washington. There is really no one in Congress, Republicans or Democrats, who have “We the People’s” best interest at heart. Those of us who stand for the Constitution of the United States and conservative values must be heard. I propose that we start a “We the People” organization. Sad to say any organization that carries clout has a big membership with a big bank account because money talks in Washington. Look at ACORN and the ACLU! I believe that there are enough Americans in our country who would willingly become a member of We the People Organization. Remember, in NUMBERS THERE IS STRENGTH. Please let me know if you think this is a viable approach, and if so, how can we get this thing rolling.
