Hi Sean,

Excellent quote. That is one of my favorite books. Do you have the "Big Book of Small Stuff?" That's a great collection of all the best tips from across his most popular books.

Hi Sean,

Thanks for stopping by today.

I can understand where you are coming from. However, there are also things that you can delegate even if you work at home.

For example, taking care of the lawn. If you have a lawn it might be worth your time to get someone else to do it for you. Of course you also have to take your budget into consideration as well.

The idea is to free up your time to focus on other things by finding the things that others can do for you.

Hi Trish,

I know it is difficult to find things to be grateful for when all you want to do is sulk over the things that bother you. Most days it seems like there is so much more to be angry about, to be frustrated at, to feel down about.

But I totally agree with you. Once you take the time and give it a try, you will be surprised at what you will find.

My wife (makes me :D) and I watch Oprah quite often. And I learned this from her - when you want to start thinking about things to be grateful for, start at being thankful for your breath, for just being able to breathe and live.

Hey Jeff,

Some great tips here. I can attest to the fact that this works. I learned it from you :-), but I took the time to write my 7 tips article, submit it and got it approved. My Ezine Articles account is set up to auto tweet the article once it is approved.

Always look forward to reading your tips.

Hi Vicque,

Thanks for stopping by.

You have said it well. It is a lot easier to just turn away from things we have to do. However, you would be surprised by all the things you can get done if you just start!

Hi Eric,

I agree with you - can't wait to see version 3. I am just hoping that they don't start to make things too complicated.

Hi Trish,

Thanks for stopping by. You definitely took some positive steps by taking the time to track your expenses. It is not a pretty picture sometimes, but it really is a necessary task.

The strict cash diet is hard for a lot of people, but it can certainly help to get spending under control if that's an issue.

Thanks for sharing what you did with us.

Hi Claudine,

Thanks so much for taking the time to revisit the post and making a comment.

You are quite right. Having the skills means nothing if you do not take the initiative to turn those skills into action. That can actually be said for many other things in life.

Rather than just sitting on the sidelines, get up and do something!
