TXTJ- I know- My family has been in the "oil bidness" since the 1920s... I'm the poor cousin since I did a military career :-) Don, I feel your pain also, I'm a retired Navy Mustang, and I'm still working for the same reason. I can't draw SS for another 4 years, and quite honestly, I'm not sure it will be there when I need it. Thanks for your service Sir!

Funny thing about all those "settlement" $$ from the tabacco lawsuits that were supposed to go to state health care systems, guess what, most of them didn't! $6.50 a carton tax will cause some to quit, but really that tax hits those LEAST able to afford it, the poor and working class, who tend to smoke because they have nothing else to do. I'm betting this is just the first of the taxes, according to some of the reports, Cap and Trade will drive my heating and electric bill up over $3500/yr. AND I'm NOT one of the "lucky" ones that got the $13 a pay day rebate... sigh...
