Seeing as I used to love going to the Salt Lake Golden Eagles Hockey games an eternity ago, I remember quite well the difference between a good ref and a bad one, I would say that's a great analogy.

There have been plenty of people trying to body check him, but he's wearing a lot of extra pads (the MSM, ACORN, Jeneane Gerrafalo) and hard to hurt, but eventually it'll happen...

1) America is good ~ are you saying Liberals think America is bad??

2) God is real and is the center of my life ~ I guess you better tell Obama that is a Conservative ideal - he may not worship like I do, but he believes God is real and believes he is God centered.

3) More honest today than yesterday? Is honestly not something all humans should strive for?

4) Family is sacred, my spouse and I are the ultimate authority on raising of kids ~ my very liberal brother thinks government should stay out unless there is serious abuse.

5) If you break the law, you should be punished ~ how is this conservative?

6) I have the right to but not the guarantee of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness ~ don't the choices you make dictate that??

7) work hard and share according to my ideals ~ shouldn't the money I make got to whom I think deserves it??? That isn't a conservative ideal - that is MY CHOICE.

8) It is not unAmerican to disagree with our government - Code Pink ring a bell??

9) The government works for me, not me for them - unless of course I join the military... Isn't that the whole idea surrounding the 60's and 70's??????

Now see, that's where you are making your mistake - you equate Conservatism with Republicans. Not so.
Now - to your questions
1) Scooter Libby didn't leak her name - proven fact.
2) If YOUR phone was tapped, then YOU deal with that, my phone was not.
3) There is a big difference between lying and telling what you believe to be the truth (such as your Scooter Libby comment) and later found to be wrong.
