I do wonder about how functional that "Princess and the Pea" bed will work tho, but it was a nice looking room. I really liked his choice of rugs in the whole house.

I wonder if the "Howard Cossell" effect will take place, where people tune in just to have something to complain about.

I thought it was really a pretty smart design for a child that young, the early rugrat phase, lots of open floorspace to play, not a lot of clutter of furniture he will quickly grow out of.

Maybe thats a good thing for all the Antonio haters here, Perhaps they will consider that he is getting his comeupance, having to live in his own design. LOL Personally I like to see where the designers really live.

I really liked his use of color. Finally someone uses a shade of green that isn't that awful Martha Stewart chartreuse. Nice colors in the living room. Good call on the kitchen color too, he saw it wasn't working and was able to get it changed to something much better. I liked the idea of the starter gallery wall in the master bedroom, a great place for the family to add favorite photos over the years.

The teaser ad for the Antonio special, where he redoes his own place looked very interesting.

I could really like a show called "Yo, Antonio" or something like that, just as long as they don't cripple him with a "gimmick". I would like to see him with a good team, and a variety of projects, small and large, big budgets and small budgets. Let Team Antonio design, build and furnish a Habitat home.

Good point! A lot of the credit for David's show has to to with the stellar cast of "helpers" he has on his team. They work together as the perfect team, all with one goal in mind, to make the best looking space possible. David is no Diva either, look how often he asks his team for opinions, and then respects them.

I hope they give them some time to actually DESIGN for the finale, I feel that was the biggest problem to the Yard challange. A project that complex does need some time to consider a lot of options, you just can't expect anyone to hit the ground running and throw stuff together on the fly.

It really seems that HGTV is out of sync with the real world, with today's housing market being down and so many people deciding to upgrade what they currently own, why are they pushing so much to BUY new houses. I do like Designed to Sell, Clive is a good host and I think Lisa L. is a great designer, I think its a waste that her design talents aren't used for houses people are really going to live in. I also like House Hunters, especially the International version, but please not every night. After a while, all the other shows start to blur together.
