Definitely Shadow of the Colossus, the way the camera slowly pans behind you when riding on the horse so that you are only in the lower left corner of the screen and the expansive world is filling the rest of it looks beautiful.

Even though it's mostly through cutscenes, I would also have to mention Metal Gear Solid 3 because it is the only game that actually made me shed a tear at the end.

I would say that when rushing forward in Gears of War and the camera pans down and shakes to follow you is an extremely effective cinematic moment that captures the feeling of running in a firefight while looking stylistic and movie like and still letting you control your character.

Oh, and the short Partly Cloudy was fantastic as well. They can show so much without uttering a single word.

I did not expect to cry in this movie let alone cry TWICE (end of the montage and the scrap book scene, how could anyone not bawl?).

While I did really like the action/adventure parts and they were done very well, this movie just makes me wish they would do a full film that is of the same tone as the first 30 minutes (just as I thought with Wall-E). It totally looks like they want to do the same thing, and it'll be interesting to see how they approach it if they come around to it.

The movie was fantastic though, laughed and was emotionally moved throughout. Loved it to pieces, up there with the best for me.

There's actually THREE Kubrick Films (2001, Dr Strangelove, and Paths of Glory).

But I still think most of his others should be on here as well.

I concur. I'm all for equality in race, gender, etc, but I find that he is reminiscent of the kind of feminism that involves calling all men pigs.

I like how the story says Escape to New York instead of from.

It sounds like some romantic comedy about eloping.
