I don't know about you, but I would want to ride in the 1 that's armored up. A friend of mine in Afghanistan says it's so bad that some of the troops feel safer WALKING! The army should rigorously test each vehicle it bids on to make sure they are getting the BEST for the money. Sounds as if in this case the bean counters dropped the ball again.
