He knew enough to not get caught up in name-calling with talk show hosts, or to worry about impressing the American people with lavish parties and whatnot. He was a businessman who handled his business. True, he was wrong on border security and he increased our national debt tremendously, but he was in no way an imbecile. Until you are responsible for over 300 million lives, not to mention several military conflicts, I would consider giving him a little slack. We came out the other end of the Bush tunnel in one piece.
