I was born to an addict/alcoholic. my grandparents adopted me when i was 2 1/2 after driving to another state to pick me up at a bar (i was 6 months old) where my BO had left me with some random couple. thankfully it was the 60's and people were "safer" back then. You would think that knowing what i did about my birth and the first 6 months of my life, which has repercussions to this day with trust issues and men, i wouldnt have done any drugs or ever took one drink of alcohol. you would think.....and you would be wrong. My Mom and Dad did everything for me, i never wanted for anything, my parents were very loving, neither one of them smoked, drank....till i was an adult i never heard either one of them say anything harsher than shit or damn. we were very involved in church and the community, took family vacations across the country and had opportunities that most kids today just dont have. i had a blessed, amazing childhood, and i still grew up and became an addict. sometimes parents can do everything right and the kids still come out with problems

considering that in pierce co in order to become a cab driver the city and county conduct a background check he evidently didnt have a criminal history. i work for one of the companies in pierce co, he was a driver here for a time but left last year. i personally didnt like the man, just one of those "gut" things...nothing he ever did or said but nonetheless
