Agreed. I got to the point where I thought that a fair reading of this thread made that pretty obvious, and figured there was no need to continue it. They can continue to put lipstick on the pig, but I doubt they're even fooling themselves at this point.

I take it you are an atheist. Stalin was an atheist. Should we judge all atheists that way, or is this sort of thing reserved for Orthodox rabbis?

I'm quite aware that the State Department has a Chief of Protocol.
And I you really believe that what's happening isn't chiefly about personalities, then all that reading you seem to have done has not led to much understanding. Obama and Netanyahu don't like or trust each other, and Ambassador Selfridge and his entire coterie of highly skilled diplomats who know exactly where a salad fork goes will not change that.

First, you suggested that I was "wrong" about the speeches on the i-pod. Now, you're claiming that there was lots more besides the speeches on the i-pod (I never said there wasn't).
I don't know, Ron, but it sure seems like you're changing your i-tune. At this point, you're only embarrassing yourself; what say you just call me a racist, and go home?

No, the Telegraph was being diplomatic. ABC News reported that, in addition to the photos you mention, the i-pod contained photos of Obama's inauguration and audios of two of his speeches. But you already knew that, didn't you?

Oh, please! The narcissist who gave the Queen an i-pod with his speeches as a formal state gift is now a big stickler for protocol. And, protocol or no, crying racism is simply pathetic. Netanyahu is no fool-- he's going to win re-election. He picked a friendly Congress over a hostile president who wouldn't support him anyway.
