The Obamanation just does not understand or care that tax increases always slow the economy. Everyone should read New Deal or Raw Deal by Burton Folsom, Jr. In this excellent book about the excesses of the FDR administration, it becomes totally apparent that the role of the progressives in the United States is to dismantle the protection of the Constitution. This dismantling is needed to achieve the purpose of allowing the Federal Government to totally control all aspects of life in the United States. Totally tyranny is truly at our doorstep with the continued efforts of the current Executive Branch and the Democratic Party controlled Congress.

Even the Communists have some level of moral scrupples, something that is totally unknown to Queen Nancy. I would have to agree that a 32% approval rating for Queen Nancy seems entirely too high. I am sure that she is totally convinced that all insurance companies are totally evil as she does not have total control of their operations. The current Obamanation is totally about absolute control of every facet of our lives. This is a true definition of total tyranny. How the U.S.A. has fallen to such a low is totally sad. Restore our Constitution in 2010 by voting out all encumbents.
The 912 movement could well be the start of a new party. Check out the web site for the Constitution Party. It is based on the Principles. I looked at the site yesterday and it looks like the party may have a pretty large slate of candidates dedicated to conserving the principles of the original Constitution and the Founding Fathers intent.
Donn, Are you serious about Sherrod Brown maybe backing down on Cap and Trade? That is slightly encouraging as I view Mr. Brown as one of the most liberal of all Senators. I can only hope that someone will successfully run against him when he comes up for election as I hate wasting my vote as a fellow Ohio voter on the likes of Sherrod Brown.
Just think the Commander and Chief might have been Hillary or could even be Queen Nancy as she is still third in line. Really scarry, isn't it!
I only wish that whatever the Obamanation comes up with will be required coverage for Congressmen and Senators as well as all Executive Branch employees. It is absolutely unbelievable that our legislators provide themselves with different and far better health coverage and retirement benefits compared to those they represent.
Notice that the Indian Minister said that India had the lowest carbon emissions per capita. Not hardly a comforting thought as India is the most populated country on Earth. Still, cap and trade is nothing but a terrible regressive tax scheme being pushed by the Obamanation and his ilk.
Probably the best that can be said about David Letterman is that he is truly irrelevent. I do not believe I have watched his show for at least 10 years. Even 10 years ago I thought he was a bore and that I could spend my time better reading or sleeping.
Tbe New Deal was a disaster. It taxed the rich almost out of existence and delayed the depression several years due to its extremely regressive tax policy. Obamah seems to be so stupid that he can not figure out the leasons of history. Taxing the rich is a sure fire recipe for economic decline. When wealth is redistributed by the government, jobs vanish. You would think the belt way hacks would figure this out but they are so full of themselves that they either can not figure it out or just don't care. The whole health care debacle is moving in the same New Deal direction. Health care will decline very rapidly if Obamah has his way. He is simply an idiot of the utmost degree!
