Yeah, it must mean the camera operator knows how to frame a shot. It would have been a hideous shot if he/she hadn't zoomed in after the establishing opening wide.

Spaceracer, where do you see that Catholics or Protestants are more likely o be targeted for hate crimes? There's no way to dispute Jews being targeted the most, but this cleans up the record quite well:

* 70.1 percent were anti-Jewish.
* 9.3 percent were anti-Islamic.
* 8.6 percent were anti-other religion.
* 4.4 percent were anti-multiple religions, group.
* 4.0 percent were anti-Catholic.
* 2.9 percent were anti-Protestant.
* 0.7 percent were anti-Atheism/Agnosticism/etc. (Based on Table 1.)

I don't believe this data takes into account the number of Muslims vs the number of Catholics/Jews/Protestants/etc either.

If I had a dollar for every time I heard that a month before a film's release, I'd be rich.
Obviously I haven't seen it, but based on the so-so director (One Tree Hill) and the so-so director of photography (unless you thought American Pie was a visual masterpiece), I'm going to guess it will fit in with the movies that get an honorable mention at the end of the year, then fall off into obscurity. Regardless, there will be x-million posts on IMDB saying that the book was better.

Hyping it up on Fox News will probably be the best marketing campaign of the year. I just received chain email from my cousin talking about how liberals tried so hard to prevent this movie and that everyone should go.

Wow, a Hollywood script that never gets produced? I bet that never happens!
Seriously though, at least 98% of Hollywood scripts don't even get a call back. John Agialoro, the writer who adapted the novel into a screenplay, is a novice to the industry. Not everything is a liberal conspiracy, and those claiming this to be censorship are just plain stupid.
